The Rocky Ford Guys & Gals 4-H Club met March 6, 2008. Tyler Brown called the meeting to order. Thomas Wolford led the Pledge of Allegiance and Ryan Scheifer led the 4-H Pledge. Lindsay Rinker took attendance and read the minutes form last meeting. Jacob Brown gave club treasury report. Enrollment forms and $2.00 dues are due March 17. Committees for this year are: Fair Booth- Lindsay Rinker, Club Activities, and Financial (fundraising). 4-H endowment banquet donations include Susan Rinker-candy, Tyler Brown-picture and one more donation is needed. Members need to sign up to help with Leisure Living Show. Demonstrations from last meeting were Lindsay Rinker on scrap booking for her Washington D.C Trip and Ryan Scheifer on his rabbit Scrappy. Demonstrations for this meeting were Olivia Sattler and Taylor Gilliland. Election results are as follows: President - Lindsay Rinker, Vice President - Michelle Flanagan, Secretary - Olivia Sattler, Treasurer - Jacob Brown, Energy & Litter - Thomas Wolford, Health & Safety - Taylor Gilliland, Recreation - Taylor Gilliland, Erin Neall and Olivia Sattler. Michelle will provide snacks for next meeting and Ryan Scheifer will provide drinks. Alex Scheifer made a motion to adjourn the meeting and Stephen Travoli 2nd the motion. Motion passed, meeting adjourned.
The His Kid's 4-H Club met Friday, March 14 at the Bright Road Church of Christ. There were 15 members present. The installation of officers was held. New officers include President, Alex Pergram; Vice President, Daniel Horton; Secretary, Annie Patterson; Treasurer, Michaela Breece; Chaplain, Tristan Lucas; Health Leader, Laura Campbell; Reporter, Kaitlyn Pees; Project Coordinator, Wayne Campbell; and Recreation Leader, Megan Horton. Dates for 4-H camp this year are July 14-18. The Money Madness Second Annual Wealth Fair is Saturday, March 15. All members were encouraged to start work on their 4-H projects. The next meeting will be held April 25 with refreshments by Isaac Dryden.
The Riverbend 4-H Club met March 17, 2008 at 7:00 PM at the residence of Celia Harper. Melissa Finsel led the Pledge of Allegiance, and Jasmine Heflinger led the 4-H Pledge. The minutes of the last meeting were read by Shelby Fletcher, and approved after a minor change. The club discussed plans for the auction baskets. The March of Dimes Walk America team received fundraising information. The election of officers results were as follows President - Benjamin Finsel, Vice -President - Emily Altvater, Secretary - Mallory Dougherty, Treasurer - Nicholas Finsel, News Reporter - Shelby Fletcher, Health Officer - Jasmine Heflinger, Safety Officer - Mara Wallace, Recreation leaders - Taylor Tweed and Kayla Clark, and Historians - Michaela Wallace and Abby Carlson. The telephone, field trip, service project, and endowment basket committees were formed. Emily Altvater presented a demonstration about tips for public speaking. The meeting was adjourned with a motion from Jasmine Heflinger, and seconded by Michaela Wallace.
The Hancock Hareraisers 4-H Club met March 9, 2008. Officers were elected with the following results: President, Ellie Hammond; Vice President, Aaron Lynch; and Secretary, Olivia Crawford. Other topics discussed were; Frozen Food Sales, our visit to Birchhaven, Flower sales, and the Relay for Life. The next meeting will be 6:00 p.m. April 13, 2008, at the McComb Untied Methodist Church.
The K-9 Best Friends 4-H Club met and Junior Advisor Andrea Mitchell led the meeting. New officers were elected and the election results are as follows: President, Mikayla Brown; Vice President, Kelsey Craig; Secretary, Josie Smith; Treasurer, Aubrey Brown; Health & Safety Leader, Josie Smith; and Recreation Leaders, Sara Oler and Daniel Horton. Andrea Mitchell demonstrated basic obedience skills with her dog Hope. Club advisors Betty Flinn, Pat Flinn, and Denise Mitchell along with club members Andrea Mitchell, Matt McDaniel, and Jessica Larkey worked at the Leisure Living Show. Proceeds from the concession stand went to the Hancock County 4-H program. The next meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. on April 14 at the Hancock County Fairgrounds. Anyone taking a 4-H dog project is welcome to attend.
The Pride of Pleasant 4-H Club met March 16, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at the residence of Lori & Brandon Anspach. There were 10 members present. Chelsea Mason led the Pledge of Allegiance and Alyssa Hunker led the 4-H pledge. Roll call was answered by what project the member was taking. The new officers were chosen President-Ashley Hunker, Vice President-Brandon Anspach, Secretary-Alyssa Hunker, Treasurer-Emily Anderson, Reporter-Rachael Shaffer, Historian-Taylor Allen, Recreation-Madison Shaffer, Health & Safety-Zach Johnson, Energy & Recycling-Jacob Allen. We had Andrea Mitchell come and talk to us about how she trains dogs for people with special needs. The meeting was adjourned by Chelsea Mason, and seconded by Brandon Anspach. The next meeting will be on April 20, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at the Anspach's house with refreshments provided by Chelsea Mason.

The Gold Star 4-H Club held its second meeting at Riley Creek Baptist Church on March 16, 2008. The members answered role call by saying their favorite color. There was one demonstration by several members on parliamentary procedures. The next meeting will be held on April 20, 2008 at The Orange Township Building.
The Dirt Don’t Hurt 4-H Club meet March 20, 2008 at the home of Jill Heidlebaugh. Seven members were present. Pledges were lead by Sidney Powell. Attendance was taken by saying your favorite drink. Then we had a prayer by Kelsey Reese. Unfinished Business: Quality Assurance, Easter Rose Sale (where), Frozen Food Sale, Camp Credits, and Candy Bars Sales. New Business: Lead Conference, which road to clean, and Endowment Auction. Then we had a demonstration by Danielle Powell on how to properly put on a band-aid. Our recreation activity was feather blowing. The next meeting will be held at Jill Heidlebaugh’s house at 7:30 April 17, 2008.
