Impact of the 2007 Conservation Tillage and Technology Conference (CTC)

  • 684 farmers, crop consultants and agency personnel attended the 2-day conference, a new record attendance.
  • Approximately 300 participants received credits as Certified Crop Advisors. 
  • Farmers surveyed showed they valued CTC education at $11,10 per acre.
  • Total direct economic impact of the CTC for farmers attending: $3,400,000.
  • Crop Consultants who completed the CTC evaluation placed a value on their increased knowledge at $14 per acre.
  • Total economic impact for farmland influenced by Crop Consultants: $125,000,000.
