Basic Computer Skills Workshop for Farm and
Green Industry Producers May 5: 1-4 p.m. and May 6: 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Hancock County Agricultural Service Center, 7868 CR 140 Findlay Are you overwhelmed by the use of technology in today's information age? Sign up to participate in a workshop designed to give agricultural producers with little or no experience a hands'on understanding of how to operate a computer; how to communicate and access information via e-mail and the internet; and how to use word processing programs. Each workshop costs $50 per person (includes instruction manual & refreshments) Workshop is limited to 10 participants. Sponsored by Ohio State University Extension and the North Central Risk Management Education Center. Workshop topics include: Computer system components; basic terminology, basic tasks, e-mail accounts and web browsing; simple file management; MS WORD documents. |
