Page Animal Project Records
All animal project members in Champaign County 4-H must complete a project record (books for 1st & 2nd year members) for each specie that they carry as a 4-H project. They are due to your advisor after the Fair. The advisor will then turn them into the Extension Office by August 31st.

Page 4-H & The Champaign County Fair
The Champaign County Fair is one of the largest livestock fairs in the state. Non-livestock projects are also plentiful.
Page 4-H Camp Clifton
4-H Camps #1 & #2 for Champaign & Logan County members is open to members in grades 3 through 8 at a cost of $200. There will be family discounts offered for multiple campers in the same family: 2nd child - $180, 3rd child & over - $170. Camp is held at 4-H Camp Clifton in Clifton, OH. Non 4-H members are welcome to attend at a cost of $225, if space is available. Final registration date is May 15, 2012. For any late registrations, there will be an additional charge of $25. Cloverbud Camp is open to Champaign County 4-H members only in grades K through 2. In 2012, it will be an overnight camp at 4-H Camp Clifton on June 16th to the morning of the 17th. The cost is $65. This includes all meals, a t-shirt & activity supplies. Registration deadline is June 6, 2012.

Page 4-H Boy & Girl of the Year
One of the most coveted awards in the Champaign county 4-H program is being named the 4-H Boy of the Year or 4-H Girl of the Year.
Page Shelton Leadership Challenge
The Shelton Leadership Challenge at Urbana University is a one week summer experience for rising freshman, sophomores, juniors and seniors in high school with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. It will be held July 1 to 6, 2012. Shelton's cornerstones of values based leadership - honesty, integrity, compassion, diversity, and social responsibility - are the foundations of the experience. The core curriculum focuses on Leadership Roles and Accountability, Team Building, Leadership Styles and Situations, Social Responsibility, Integrity as a Leader, Public Speaking, Changing Behaviors, and Goal Setting. Urbana University is the only institution in the Midwest offering this program.

County 4-H endowments are permanent funds made possible through individual donations, business and corporate contributions, and fund raising events.
