This is session 6 of an 8-part series. This is the second session on sewing techniques and will focus on zippers, buttons & buttonholes, tailoring tricks and more. If possible, participants are asked to bring a sewing machine and sewing basket.

Weight loss can play a vital role in the prevention of many health problems. Dr. David Meier, Prevention Cardiologist with Blanchard Valley Hospital will present this "evening only" Be Healthy Now Educational Session.

Wednesday, May 16 meeting of Hancock County's Junior Leadership Club. Hancock County youth ages 14 (as of January 1, 2012) OR at least freshmen in high school may participate in this club. Members develop leadership skills and assist with conducting many Hancock County 4-H programs.

Hancock County's second of two Quality Assurance Training sessions offered in 2012. Participants need to allow a little over an hour to complete a 15-minute rotation of four stations.

This is session 7 of an 8-part series. Bring a sewing machine, sewing basket and a project that you are working on as this is a "work" session. We will also be learning more about sewing with wool fabric, and contests such as Guys & Gals Lead at the county fair, and Sew with Wool competitions.

4-H General Livestock Judging Contest - Hancock
Dr. C. Richard Beckett Animal Science Building, University of Findlay
In this contest, 4-H members evaluate and rank livestock for market or breeding value. An experienced livestock judge officiates the contest and provides instructional review of all classes judged. Recognition is given to high scoring participants.

Quality Assurance - Hancock (last 2012 session)
Hancock Co. Jr Fair livestock exhibitors who have not yet attended a Quality Assurance session for 2012 are reminded that the last offering in Hancock County will be on Saturday, May 19th, 9 am - 12 pm. (participants will rotate through a series of four 15-minute stations. Rabbit exhibitors are not required to attend Quality Assurance, but are encouraged to attend a rabbit clinic being held May 14th, 6:30 pm at the Hancock County Fairgrounds.
