4-H Youth Development
"4-H is a community of young people across America who are learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills" With 540,000 volunteers, 3,500 professionals, and more than 60 million alumni, the 4-H movement supports young people from elementary school through high school with programs designed to shape future leaders and innovators. Fueled by research-driven programming, 4-H'ers engage in hands-on learning activities in the areas of science, citizenship and healthy living.
4-H is a non-formal educational, youth development program offered to individuals age 5 and in Kindergarten to 19.

- Fayette County 4-H Youth Development ...learning leadership, citizenship and life skills 4-H is a non-formal educational, youth development program offered to individuals age 5 and in Kindergarten to age 19. Youth are involved in hands-on, experiential learning that allows learning by doing. All 4-H programs focus on active involvement and quality experiences which stimulate lifelong learning of values and skills. Fayette County 4-H is a family affair. Everyone becomes involved in the learning, the business and the fun. How to Join 4-H
- How to Join 4-H Who can join? …..Membership to the 4-H club program begins when a child is enrolled in 3rd grade and is at least age 8 as of January 1 of the current year. Ohio 4-H membership ends December 31 of the year in which an individual attains the age of 19.

Interested in becoming a 4-H advisor?
- What better way to show your child you care, then to be spend quality time with them. According to decades of research, parental involvement enhances academic performance, raises self-esteem and is a great inspiration. Youth are more likely to participate in extracurricular activities, enjoy the experience and have less behavior problems when parents/guardians are involved.

Cloverbud 4-H Program
- Cloverbuds are Fayette County children who are five years old and in kindergarten to eight years old and in third grade. Cloverbud clubs meet to have FUN with other children the same age.

4-H Times Newsletters
- The dedication and commitment of our volunteers make 4-H Youth Development possible. Volunteers generously offer their time, expertise and provide support for hundreds of 4-H programs all over Ohio. There is no specific age requirement to be a 4-H Volunteer. Youth volunteers, with the emotional maturity and leadership ability necessary to function in a volunteer role, are important partners in Ohio 4-H programs. - It's time to select your 4-H projects for this year's club work and county fair participation. Ohio 4-H offers over 200 projects to meet interests of any child.

- Fayette County 4-H Camp is June 2nd through June 6th, 2012! Fayette County 4-H Camp is located in Yellow Springs Ohio at 4-H CAMP CLIFTON. http://4hcampclifton.com It’s a great place to have fun and make new friends! Age-divided cabin areas and age appropriate workshops/ activities.
