About Master Gardener Volunteer Program
- HURON COUNTY MASTER GARDENERS meet on the fourth Thursday of each month, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at St. Alphonsus Church Hall, located just off of Route 61, south of Norwalk on Settlement Rd. (with the exception of Nov.; and no meetings in Aug. or Dec.). There are many exciting opportunities for continuing education and camaraderie and this has helped to develop a corps of dedicated volunteers. Volunteers are an important component of the OSU Extension system. The Master Gardeners' knowledge, experience and enthusiasm have become essential to Extension education of consumer horticulture in the state of Ohio.
