4-H Endowment

County 4-H endowments are permanent funds made possible through individual donations, business and corporate contributions, and fund raising events. Contributions are invested permanently through the Ohio 4-H Foundation and interest income returns to the county to fund local 4-H youth development education programs, and adds value to the county endowment to keep pace with inflation.

Special thanks to William & Nancy Recker for a $10,000 endowment contribution in memory of Paul & Orlefa Loyer (Nancy's parents).  Orlefa was a 4-H advisor in Allen County, and both Paul & Orlefa brought horses to the Hancock Co. Fair. This memorial will annually provide "Two 4-H Camp Scholarships".

A $555 contribution was also received in memory of Ron Cole.  Ron was a long time supporter of 4-H and agriculture. Our sympathy goes out to Ron's family. His daughter, Stephane, is currently a Hancock County 4-H volunteer.
