Canine Royalty

Application form for Hancock County Jr Fair Canine Royalty

Applications are due Friday, July 27th to the Jr Fair Office, 1017 E. Sandusky St., Findlay OH 45840. Applicants must be a member of Hancock County 4-H or FFA, and they must have completed a minimum of one year with a Dog project. King and queen candidates must be 15-18 years as of January 1, 2012; Prince and princess candidates must be 12-14 years as of January 1, 2012. Additional rules also apply.

eXtension Animal Careers web series

Would you like a job working with dogs, cats, or other small animals? If so, then this webinar series offered by eXtension can introduce you to these careers either through joining a live monthly session or viewing one of the previously recorded sessions.

Do you need a learning activity for your project??  These archived presentations would be excellent!

All webinars will occur live online lasting about 30 minutes and a question and answer period will be available at the end of each session. Sessions will be recorded and archived for future viewings online through eXtension.org.

County 4-H News
Quality Assurance training for Jr Fair Livestock Exhibitors will be held Saturday, May 19th at the Hancock County Agricultural Service Center, 7868 CR 140 Findlay OH. Participants should arrive from 9 - 11 am. The workshop will consist of four 15-minute sessions. Small groups of 15-20 youth will rotate through the stations and then be free to go.
