This event is hosted by Fulton County 4-H program and they have requested that participants NOT bring their guinea pigs.  OSU Extension Fulton County is located in the Robert Fulton Agriculture Center, across the street from the Fulton County Fairgrounds on the east side of SH 108 (.25 mile north of the Ohio Turnpike).

New for 2012 - Bring Animals to Judging!

These projects are judged at the Miscellaneous Project Judging. 4-H members will need to bring your small animal, your completed project book, and an educational display or poster to your interview.  Be prepared to answer questions about your project.

PetPALS Information

For the PetPALS project - youth must belong to a club or group with a "trained MASTER 4-H PetPAL Volunteer Leader". There is a trained volunteer leader here in Hancock County, so please contact our office for more information before registering for this project. Phone: 419-422-3851

eXtension Animal Careers web series

Would you like a job working with dogs, cats, or other small animals? If so, then this webinar series offered by eXtension can introduce you to these careers either through joining a live monthly session or viewing one of the previously recorded sessions.

All webinars will occur live online lasting about 30 minutes and a question and answer period will be available at the end of each session. Sessions will be recorded and archived for future viewings online through eXtension.org.

Quality Assurance training for Jr Fair Livestock Exhibitors will be held Saturday, May 19th at the Hancock County Agricultural Service Center, 7868 CR 140 Findlay OH. Participants should arrive from 9 - 11 am. The workshop will consist of four 15-minute sessions. Small groups of 15-20 youth will rotate through the stations and then be free to go.
