Who can become an Ohio Volunteer Naturalist?
The Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist Program seeks to train individuals to develop a corp of well-educated volunteers for education, outreach, and service toward the beneficial management of natural resources within their communities. The certification program includes completing 40 hours of classroom & hands-on field instruction, achieving a minimum score of 70% on the final take-home exam, and a commitment to perform 40 hours of approved volunteer service within one year.
