    Hancock Saves is hosting two community workshops to help you be aware. Identity Theft - Be Aware on October 1, 6 p.m. at The University of Findlay Alumni Memorial Union Fraud - What to Watch For on October 6, 2 p.m. at Brown Mackie College Officer Chris Huber with Findlay Police Department will share what is happening in our community and what to watch for, or do if you are affected.

    The Molly Caren Agricultural Center near London, Ohio is home to the Farm Science Review (FSR), which attracts more than 140,000 visitors from all over the United States and Canada, who come for three days to peruse 4,000 product lines from 600 commercial exhibitors and learn the latest in agricultural production. The educational programs feature Ohio State and Purdue specialists and are second to none in the agricultural exhibition world.

    Dining with Diabetes 'Reunion' Class for the 2015 spring and summer sessions!  Come celebrate the progress that you and your classmates have made toward making healthy choices and managing diabetes. This class is a great time to share with the instructors what recipes really "worked" for you and suggestions for improvement of the program.  Please RSVP so that we can make preparations.

    OSU Extension Master Gardener Volunteer William Lanning has served as a national officer and accredited gourd judge for the Ohio and American Gourd Society. He will be the presenter for this program which will cover the raising, curing, and crafting of hard shell gourds. The program will include hands-on with raw, and crafted gourds.  Information about various gourd shows will also be available. Link to the Library's page for advance registration

    This is the final tear down session so make sure that you allow enough time to complete the task by 6 p.m. Premium checks will only be distributed once the booth is completely cleaned out of all exhibits, decorations, staples, etc.

    No exhibit shall be removed from the fair until 6 p.m. on Monday, September 7. Any violation of this rule will mean forfeit of premium. Premium checks will not be distributed to the club until the booth is completely cleaned out of all exhibits, decorations, staples, etc. The Youth Building will also be open from 1-6 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8 for booth tear down.

    This is also the final day of the Hancock County Fair with the Junior Fair Livestock Sale beginning at 9 a.m.

    Come to the Hancock County Fair!  Our staff has displays in the ag tent, youth, and grange buildings. We also are involved with daily activities in the youth and grange buildings. Master Gardener Volunteers have a large display at the front of the grange building and they have volunteers on hand throughout the fair to answer any questions that community members might have.  They have great educational displays regarding frequent home and garden problems!
