Quality Assurance training must be attended by all youth livestock exhibitors.
Providing proper care of livestock is very important for members with animal projects. Quality Assurance sessions teach good production principles, safety, animal welfare, and ethics. All Ohio youth exhibitors are required to participate in Quality Assurance training. Hancock Jr Fair Exhibitors must complete quality assurance training prior to the Jr Fair entry deadline.
This June session includes some specie workshops and multiple sessions which attendees rotate through (approx. 2 hours in length).
In addition, the Hancock County Agricultural Society (Hancock Co. Fair) - requires Good Sportsmanship Training for youth and parent/guardian.The sportsmanship workshop will be offered at Quality Assurance and at Livestock Interviews.
- Any member who has not completed Good Sportsmanship training is required to attend with their parent or guardian.
- Members who have previously completed Good Sportsmanship training will be able to agree and abide by the rules on the Jr Fair entry forms.
