Quality Assurance training must be attended by all youth livestock exhibitors.
Providing proper care of livestock is very important for members with animals projects. Quality Assurance sessions teach good production principles, safety, animal welfare, and ethics. All Ohio youth exhibitors are required to participate in Quality Assurance training.
In addition, the Hancock County Agricultural Society (Hancock Co. Fair) - requires Good Sportsmanship Training for youth and parent/guardian. The sportsmanship workshop will be offered at Quality Assurance(March 3 or June 4) and at Livestock Project Evaluation (August 8).
- Any member who has not completed Good Sportsmanship training is required to attend with their parent or guardian
- Members who have previously completed Good Sportsmanship training will provide consent to rules as part of making Jr Fair livestock entries.
