Emilee Drerup started with OSU Extension Hancock County as the Family and Consumer Sciences Educator in June 2019.
Prior to working in Hancock County, Emilee worked with OSU Extension Putnam County as a SNAP-Ed Program Assistant, where she taught nutrition, hands on cooking, and food safety to limited resource adults and youth.
Emilee is a 2015 graduate of The Ohio State University with a BS in Public Health with a minor in Disability Studies. She is currently working towards her Master of Public Health degree from The Ohio State University College of Public Health. She also is a Certified Health Education Specialist
Family and Consumer Sciences is an Extension outreach program of the Ohio State University with a mission to build healthy lives, finances, and relationships through education and research. As the FCS Educator, Emilee plans to develop and teach programs on nutrition and food safety, finances and money management, positive work-life balance skills, and other FCS related issues.
