Interested youth campers must be a resident of Hancock County in the 3rd through 8th grade to attend 4-H Camp. All registrations occur through the Hancock County Extension office. The Hancock County 4-H Advisory Council awards several camp scholarships to 4-H members each year to help defray the cost of camp, scholarship form can be found above. Hancock County youth who are not involved in the 4-H program are invited to attend camp.
Camp Counselor
2025 Camp Counselor Application - Due October 15, 2024
Youth who are at least current freshman in high school, desiring to be a Camp Counselor need to submit an application form to the Extension Office by October 15, 2024 You must call the Extension office to schedule an interview. The camp counselor interviews will be held on November 27. Individuals need to be able to display leadership abilities, cooperate in a group, and assist in planning the camp program. Due to the planning involved, counselors must be committed to attending all meetings. Counselors selected will be responsible for paying a portion of their camp fee.
