Level 2 Food Safety Training Available

The Ohio Department of Health (ODH) now requires all food service facilities licensed at 'risk level 3 or higher' to have at least one staff person who has completed an ODH approved level 2 Food Safety Training.  Link to Ohio Department of Health's Food Safety Ohio Certification webpage

OSU Extension has partnered with TAP Series to offer an online training course which meets all ODH requirements. There are several options for testing then. You can schedule with one of the 'testing centers' using links provided by TAP, or here in Hancock County you can work with staff at OSU Extension or Hancock Public Health who are certified proctors for the National Restaurant Association's ServSafe Program.
